Conformation Handling 2

Conformation Handling 2 Class will take you and your dog through the skills needed to show your dog confidently in the show ring.

We will actively "go over" your dog using various forms of distractions, like sun glasses, hats, men, women, etc., as well as have you performing the various patterns judges will ask of you when handling your own dog in the Show Ring. We'll work on any "issues" that come up or may come up in the breed ring for you or your dog. This class is for handlers and dogs that have already been through a Clicker Conformation 1 type of class.

We'll be very active and out doors in the "ring" most of the time, so dress in comfortable shoes and show clothes with pockets. Bring your dog's show leads as well as any questions you have about showing in the breed ring.

INSTUCTOR: Ivy Underdahl has received numerous Best of Breed wins on several of her Swedish Vallhunds, taking one female to her AKC Champion title in just three months, culminating in an Award of Excellence at Eukanuba in '07. She has a female Vallhund of her own breeding that is just a couple of points away from her AKC CH from the "Bred By Exhibitor" class! She also has shown two of her Vallhunds in the rare breed venue ARBA, both received their CH titles as well. In addition, in July 2008, Ivy received the amazing gift of being asked to fly to Sweden to handle two Swedish Vallhunds in the breed ring at the World Dog Show 2008.
