Puppy Preschool
This is a 6 week class for puppies from 8 weeks to 18 weeks old. It is held in a safe, indoor location. We will use "Clicker Training" which is a very gentle approach to shaping your dog's behavior through positive reinforcement. Using the positive and fun technique, you will learn how to teach your dog basic behaviors (such as sit, down, stay, come and walk on a leash ). We'll also discuss housetraining, handling techniques, puppy mouthing and learn proactive problem solving techniques. This is also a critical time period where you can easily socialize your dog with people and other dogs and teach bite inhibition. Attendance for the first class is critical and is orientation for the owners only.

*The first class is a 2-hour orientation for PEOPLE ONLY and attendance is critical. The last class is a 2 hour class and includes graduation. |
Class Cost: |
$125 for six classes - receive a $10 discount for dogs adopted from Woods Humane Society,
Santa Maria Valley Humane Society or Animal Services. |

Dogs must be in progress of having puppy shots (DHPP) |
Registration: |
Class size is limited to approximately 12 dogs to ensure personal attention. Full payment is necessary to reserve class space. |
