Frequently Asked Questions

Q.

Where are classes held?

A.

Classes are held in an indoor facility located at 173 Buckley Road, San Luis Obispo. Our agility classes are held outdoors in a fenced area. Puppy classes are held indoors inside the training center, the floors are sanitized prior to each puppy class.

Q.

 What happens if I can't make a class/miss a class?

A.

Due to the limits on class sizes, we cannot offer makeup classes. In a limited number of classes, we can provide videos of previously filmed classes so you can see what is typically taught in that week’s session.  We make every effort to get you caught up in the event you miss class.

Q.

What is the limit on number of people per class?

A.

Our class sizes fluctuate according to which class is being offered.  The number of dogs in class will be roughly 8 (adult dog classes) to 12 (puppy classes) dogs per class.

Q.

What kind of vaccines are required prior to coming to classes?

A.

Dogs must be current on Parvo/Distemper (DHPP),  or have protective titers, and also must be current on their Rabies vaccinations.  If you are bringing a puppy to our Puppy Preschool Class, the puppy must be in the process of obtaining their DHPP, and have had at least one booster.
